Rapper/Songwriter/Recording Artist Lawonne Martez Givens better known as his stage name DatBoiLegend or Nfg Legend was born and raised in Chicago, IL in one of the toughest neighborhoods in the city labeled as Englewood. He started off writing music at the age of thirteen after experiencing poverty in his childhood and watching his mother struggle to make ends meet. Growing up in a single parent home with his three siblings played a major part in his life that made him want to become apart of street gangs, drugs, etc that eventually lead him to prison for two and a half years on gun charges in 2007. Upon release in 2009 DatBoiLegend started taking his career serious with the help of his older brother who started recording his music and videos in January 2010, Now opening up for major acts like juvenile from cash money records, Don P from trillville, Lil John and the Eastside Boyz and many more you can expect to see more from DatBoiLegend as he arise to stardom with hot new sound.
