The eternal life is a gift from Him, it offers an infinite variety of experiences from which you can choose in order to learn about Him and understand how He loves you. In the illusion, you live life as a human being, pain and suffering that you experience might lead you to think that this might not be the case. However, the illusion is illusory and even illusory are your experiences in it.
