Description
A live recording of the "L & C Band" in "De Koog" * in Noord-Scharwoude, Holland. I recorded it in the eighties with a very simple stereo cassette recorder (sorry for the first 2 minutes 47 seconds that have a wrong switch set, resulting in an awfull high beep). Lead guitar by Leo van de Ketterij, former member of "Shocking Blue". L & C: L is Leo and C is Cindy van de Ketterij. The band performed from 1980 till 1984. Foto by Henk Bruyn aka Hank Brown.

They made one album: "Optimistic Man", with this line up:
bass – Ad Oste (tracks: A2, B5), Mary Hehuat
drums, vocals – Louis Filius
keyboards – Freek Berrier
vocals – Cindy van de Ketterij, Henk Fey
vocals, guitar – Leo van de Ketterij

* "De Koog" was a youth centre founded in the seventies by Max (Jos) Quax & me and some friends. The centre started in a building in a street named De Koog, so I gave it that name, though at first I wanted to name it "Radion" as I saw a charming vintage enamel soap ad sign with that name on an old house. Didn’t do so, for the soap was still in the shops...
