The background material
Nine Democrat states (all 9 of these voted for Hillary in 2016 & Barry in 2012. Two have GOP Governors currently, the other 7 have a Democrat. All the legislatures are under Dumocrat control) have as of 10/4/20, 37.665% of all COVID-19 deaths. These states are IL, NY, NJ, CT, MA, DC, RI, DE & MD.
As of 10/4/20, NY, NJ, CT, MA, DC, RI, DE & MD or the LOCKDOWNS PLUS TWO as I refer to them in my literature have 1,056,777 cases (14.434% of all cases) & 69,432 deaths (33.44% of all deaths). Death rate = 145.599
Illinois had 300,043 cases (4.098% of all cases) & 8,774 deaths (4.225% of all deaths). Death rate = 69.337.
Those nine states have a collective 37.665% of all COVID-19 deaths, but only 18.139% of the entire U.S. population. Notice the inverse relationship between their % of all infections & % of all deaths. It’s much different than the 7 states (or NON-LOCKDOWNS as I refer to them) that never had a shelter in place or stay at home order during the initial COVID-19 hysteria.
Just NY, NJ, CT, MA, DC & RI – excluding DE & MD had 908,833 cases (12.413% of all cases) & 64,775 deaths (31.197% of all deaths). Death rate = 159.435. The U.S. death rate on 10/4/20 was 62.418 per 100,000.
Those 7 states IA, ND, SD, UT, WY, NE & AR all have GOP trifectas. GOP Governors & GOP control of the legislature. I think those folks are just better than most Americans. They all gave their electoral votes to Donald Trump in 2016.
I think this is why Regressive Dumocrats want to nationalize everything, they want everyone to be as miserable as they are. Iowa doesn’t have a huge problem with drug addicts all over the place as do places like Baltimore, nor do we have millions of fatherless children running wild in the streets, which is probably why we are doing a bit better than places like the Northeast, especially New York City, Baltimore & the disintegrating city of Chicago.
As of 10/4/20 IA, ND, SD, UT, WY, NE, & AR) had 355,208 cases (4.851% of all cases) & 4,330 deaths (2.085% of all deaths). Death rate = 31.720. Those states have roughly 4.103% of the U.S. population.
