Saint Aubin sur Mer is a seaside resort located in the department of Calvados in the region of Lower - Normandy and is the ideal place for swimming, fishing, hiking and water sports, the beach is also preferred by children and their parents .
Saint-Aubin is also a popular spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing in the region.
Many famous people have stayed at this wonderful locations, including:

Hector Malot (1830-1907) writer, stayed in Saint-Aubin; here he setting for his novel "Dear."
Emile Zola (1840 - 1902), writer, stayed in Saint-Aubin from August 2 to October 4, 1875, for the health of his wife Alexandrine. He finished here his novel "His Excellency Eugene Rougon" and began "The Assommoir," the novel increased his reputation.

Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) stayed for many years in this seaside resort.
