Description
Edit #1 for headphones. Recorded June 12, 1967, released in the UK as a single on August 18, 1967, and as a B side single in the US on the same day.
Mellotron and brass: Brian Jones. Piano: Nicky Hopkins. Lead vocals: Mick Jagger. Guitars: Keith Richards. Bass: Bill Wyman. Drums: Charlie Watts. Backing vocals: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, J. Lennon and P. McCartney (you know, those guys who started in quite a nice band and who ended up playing with wives that could neither sing nor play musical instruments properly...).

Hey, guess what I realised today? This is a song about love, still ""love"" is what caused Rolling Stones and Beatles to split up.
It took a woman from - world war country - Germany to split the Stones (Brian Jones' Anita [everybody's] Pallenberg) and a woman from - world war country - Japan to split the Beatles (Yoko Mono). Coincidence?

Another, a one liner: "Some say the Beatles WERE better, well, the Stones ARE better." ruudtes, December 2015.

WE LOVE YOU
(Jagger/Richards)

We don't care if you'd only love we
We don't care if you'd only love we
We love you. We love you, and we hope that you will love we too
We love they. We love they, and we want you to love they too
Ah...

We don't care if you hound we and lock the doors around we
Locked it in our minds 'caus we love you
We love you, we love you

You will never win we
Your uniforms don't fit we
We forget the place we're in
'Cause we love you
We love you. Of course, we do

I love you. I love you
And I hope that you are groovin' too
We love you. We do. We love you. We do.

Ah... Ah... Ah...

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote this after they were arrested along with Brian Jones on drug charges stemming from a raid on Keith's house, Redlands, on February 12, 1967. This was a thank you message to the fans who supported Jagger and Richards through their arrest. There is jail ambiance at the beginning.
This was also a "Thank You" to The Beatles, The Who and the editorial page of the London Times, who supported and spoke out in favor of the Stones after Jagger, Richards and Jones were arrested on drug charges.
