Description
GOTUS is a band in the melodic hard rock musical genre from Switzerland, created in 2019. This year, the guitarist Armand "Mandy" Meyer and drummer Pat Aeby met to discuss the possibility of creating a new musical project together. The idea of playing live and revisiting tracks Mandy has written over the course of his impressive career seemed very interesting. Their future repertoire will include tracks by Krokus, Unisonic, Gotthard, Cobra (Jamie Jamison), House Of Lords, Katmandü and probably a few other nice surprises. In a few days the band was created with old friends amongst the best of the best in Swiss rock music, all happy to play again together.

The line-up of GOTUS is composed with Mandy Meyer (ex Gotthard, Asia, Krokus) on guitars, surrounded by Tony Castell (Krokus, Crystall Ball) on bass, Pat Aeby (Krokus, Storace) on drums, Alain Guy on keyboards and on vocals Ronnie Romero (ex Rainbow, The Ferrymen, Lords Of Black, CoreLeoni, Vandenberg etc...). Meyer, Aeby and Castell have worked together since many years, including during the successful Krokus era of the Rock The Block, Fire & Gasoline and Hellraiser records. Dino Jelusick (Animal Drive, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Dirty Shirley) will join GOTUS on stage as guest vocalist (courtesy of Frontiers Records Srl) . Their first album titled ''Gotus'' was relased and published on 19 January 2024 by Frontiers Records. Produced by : Alessandro Del Vecchio, Patrick Aeby, Armand “Mandy” Meyer.
